Bench type profile projectors are useful for a variety of measurements and inspections in different industries. They have multi-layered and coated projection lenses that provide high transmission with optimum contrast, suitable for viewing contours and doing surface inspection. The profile projection equipment has a high accuracy in dimensional measurement and surface inspection. All models of our profile projectors (optical comparators) are CE marked. They have a rigid pedestal system that allows vibration free handling of their mechanical components. They have episcopic and diascopic illuminators provided so as to give bright projection on the fine ground glass projection screen They are rotatable through 360 degrees with vernier or digital angle display to reduce the requirement for many complex calculations. The screen has a 90 degree cross hair line. It also has four detachable template holders to hold a variety of transparent comparator charts. It has precision micrometer measuring stages with a rotary measuring stage that are mounted on the tables. They may also have simple to view digital counters for X-Y stage travels. These would be located near the projection screen to minimizing strain associated with too much movement. They have a circular graduated scale divided into 360 degrees in steps of one degree with vernier reading of 6 minutes. Hard steel balls provide long life and smooth movement in longitudinal and transverse slides. The profile projectors have high resolution objective lenses designed for different profile projection under telecentric illumination to minimize residual distortion to 0.1%. The basic profile projection instrument is supplied with 10x, in a multi-element coated projection lens. The objective lenses are easily interchanged. The projection accuracy is +/- 0.1 percent in contour illumination and +/- 0.15 percent in surface illumination. The profile projector has a lot of accessories for applications in various fields. These profile projectors can output X-Y coordinate data, except for model PP-250. Two dimensional data processing can be done with optional SMART DRO.
